Tasting Notes: At the beginning, you can perceive a strong fresh red fruit, such as currants, strawberries and cherries. The violet is clearly recognizable on the palate. Pleasant, fruity wine, supported by the typical acidity of Sangiovese and characterized by long and elegant tannins.
Food Pairing: Goes with Grilled red meat, white meat, medium aged cheeses. An ideal wine also as an accompaniment throughout the meal.
Grapes: Sangiovese 90%, Merlot 10%
Vinification: small sized stainless steel vats using selected yeasts and controlled temperature, with repassings and “delestage”
Aging: oak casks of Allier, and barriques for about 12 months
